The mother of a possible Unauthorized Raspberry Picker came by today with a nice container of tasty raspberries. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this, as opposed to the "My Child Wouldn't" or "What Do You Expect; The Berries Were There for the Picking" school of parenting.

Also, I heard from Tina and she wants me to stay with Bearito and the Monday lesson, but not push to do the bigger jumps until my balance is better. This is fine with me; I may need to look for another lesson barn sometime next year though, if I want to go a lot further with the jumping. But in the meantime, getting to ride the Cute Pony is just fine...

Ah, the raspberries.

I tried to stop them, but one of the older kids said he'd asked you guys and you'd said it was okay. I am far too trusting. Even so, I did swat them away after a point when it seemed to be going too far. I think a warning would be useful in future, of the "no climbing on the pretty pipe thing" variety. Since Ilana was eating them too, can I Paypal you a few bucks?

The raspberries were an object lesson. We went out and picked them at Parlee Farms with the specific idea that they were for you to say sorry for eating yours. There should have been a Qt but I failed to put them in the fridge and it was so wet yesterday they molded very quickly. There were LOTS more and we could get more. The kids had a lot of fun doing it so they have found that doing a good thing was fun :)
