(Which is to say: IMNSHO, dogs need to be trained, all dogs. Jumping up on people isn't OK. It is not deceptive to train a dog basic commands and not give it a treat every single time. Sophie is NOT a "special" dog for whom the rules can be broken.)
Agreed! Dogs should be trained, and are quite willing to be trained. Dogs like to please they are easily trained.
