quietannOne thing I have to keep in mind about Naku is that she came from a fairly sterile environment, so there are many things that are new to her.
For example, thunder and lightning are a bit scary. But windows, and the things outside them, are fascinating.
And tonight... she was sitting on the floor and she saw a bug. It was about 1/4 inch long, and walking towards her. She did the classic ear-perk that cats do ... until it actually touched her. She JUMPED back about 2 feet. And kept watching it, until it touched her again, and again she jumped back.
(after that, Spook got in the way. They are still sorting out their differences, and tonight I learned that Naku has a very impressive growl for such a tiny cat....)
