I've never been dead-broke with not a penny to my name. There's always been some sort of safety net (e.g. in college, when I'd zeroed out my checking account for the month, I still had a room and enough food, and the knowledge that I'd be getting another small check from my parents and a small paycheck soon enough -- the total between the two of them was usually about $80 each month.)
I am not especially embarassed about this, BTW. I just think I'm lucky.
2. What makes you lose focus?
Well, distractions. And getting too caught up in my own emotional reactions to things...
3. How tall are you?
5 feet, 1 inch or 1 1/2 if I stretch.
4. Are you brave or cowardly?
More cowardly than brave, except when something very important to me is being threatened.
5. What's in your pocket?
Front left pocket: the insulin pump. Front right pocket: a few dollars in cash.
