she's lost her purr!
Aug. 2nd, 2005 01:52 pmSo... I slept with Myrtle and Spook last night. Ben's futon (soon to be replaced by a real mattress) is too hard on my shoulders and hips. My futon, when opened, is considerably softer and more comfortable, so that's where I am sleeping, for now.
Myrtle snuggled up to me as usual and was ecstatic about being rubbed and petted and cuddled. One could tell just by her body language. But she did not purr. At all. I tried all of her favorite rubs, and she *looked* like she was purring, but there was no vibration and no sound.
So her purr is broken. I find this to be very sad....
