(no subject)

When I went out to say good morning to Spook and Naku, Spook was asleep in her carrier, and she had ... vanished. Way more of the cat food than Spook would normally eat had vanished, too.

I eventually located Naku under the couch, in the very far corner. (Grey cats are hard to locate!)

Although it may be weeks or months before she fully adjusts to being here, this counts as progress.

Spook just fell off the couch. He is now doing that very catlike "Nothing happened, move along" thing.

the sky got dark and...

about 5 minutes ago, the sky went from twilighty to dark. And then I heard a roar in the distance, and over several seconds the wind picked up and it is now very, very scary out there....
