On dad's side: your basic British mix -- but mostly Welsh and Scottish (my grandmother claimed we trace back to Robert the Bruce!), with a bit of French thrown in. Also, one of my great-great grandmothers was probably a "halfbreed" Native American. On mom's side: Eastern European Jew, from Warsaw and the surrounding areas. (There are enough redheads in the family that my mom morbidly joked about ancestors getting raped by the goyim...)
2. Of those countries, which would you most like to visit?
Scotland and Wales.
3. Which would you least like to visit? Why?
None of them, really. But going to Poland knowing that _no one_ related to me lives there anymore would be weird.
4. Do you do anything during the year to celebrate or recognize your heritage?
Mostly the Jewish side -- we celebrate the holidays and light Sabbath candles _almost_ every Friday.
5. Who were the first ancestors to move to your present country (parents, grandparents, etc.)?
