deguspice surprises me!

quietannHis parents had offered to buy us a new stove as a wedding present. We finally picked one out (it took a while, because we wanted a free-standing electric stove with a closed cooktop and all the controls on the *front* of the stove. Gas stoves are made with the controls that way, but not many electric stoves are...)
I was aware that the stove would be arriving "sometime", but somehow deguspice arranged for it to appear like magic yesterday, without me suspecting anything at all. He was quite pleased with himself :) And he mouseproofed it really well (one of the problems with the old stove -- besides that it was just old -- was that mice had been living in it. See here. I couldn't use the oven without making the entire house smell like burning mouse poop.)
So now I am going to go make a pie.
