Tonight: Cloudy with snow. Low around 25F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
That "less than one inch" is turning out to be more than that, on a base of slush/sleet. It's *scary* out there. (Some of this is local to Andover; as of midnight we had 3-4 inches of heavy, wet snow and it was still falling. It was obvious when we were driving home from
marmota's house that the plows/sanding services were caught completely off guard by this.)
ETA: The snow is over now.
